In the course of the Corona crisis and the restrictions already imposed and those still to be expected, we are taking extensive measures to maintain production and ensure the supply of spare parts.
As a manufacturer of machines for food production (including their spare and wear parts), we are responsible for ensuring our customers’ ability to deliver and thus their production capability. Supplying the population with food has top priority in this crisis.
At the same time, measures must be taken to ensure the safety of all employees. Additional disinfection stations have been set up and an overlap-free shift system has been introduced in the production areas to avoid direct contact between work groups. Storage areas and quality control may only be entered by personnel directly working there. Transfer zones have been set up accordingly for material traffic. Staggered break times with intermediate room and surface disinfection help to avoid crowds of people and contribute to the greatest possible minimization of the transmission of pathogens. In some administrative areas, work is also carried out at staggered times.
In sales, consulting and after-sales, the technology for conducting telephone and video conferences has been further expanded. In spite of the restrictions on travel activities, this ensures accessibility and rapid assistance.
As long as the authorities allow, we continue to offer our service and support on site. We understand that many of our customers are concerned and are taking appropriate measures, such as closing the premises to outside personnel. In such cases we can also assist you by remote maintenance or the use of appropriate conference technology.
Services abroad can still be provided. Trained technicians are available locally through our worldwide network of country representatives. Here too, we can support you with remote maintenance and conference technology.
Due to our extensive and high stock levels, the supply of spare parts is ensured and through continuous analysis of areas in which bottlenecks could occur in post-production, we ensure that this remains so.
We are very sorry that more and more trade fairs worldwide are cancelled or postponed, thus depriving us of the opportunity for a direct personal discussion. However, we are still there for you as usual and will support you with solutions for your challenges, true to our motto: In the hands of the best.
